Tandoori Tawa Chicken is a flavour-packed recipe that combines the smoky essence of tandoori with a quick, stovetop cooking method. Perfectly marinated chicken is cooked on a hot tawa.
Cut slits in the chicken legs to allow the marinade to penetrate.
Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix well to combine.
Add the chicken legs to the bowl and coat them with the marinade, ensuring they are fully covered.
Let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour, allowing the flavors to soak in.
Heat up a tawa pan and add 1 tbsp of oil to coat the surface.
Add the chicken legs to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat, turning them occasionally to ensure they cook evenly.
Flip the chicken legs and add the remaining creamy masala on top. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes, allowing the chicken to become tender and fully cooked.
Garnish the cooked chicken with fresh green chillies and coriander for added flavor and color.
