Ingredients

  • 100 g Almonds blanched and peeled
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 4 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Saffron Strands
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder

Instructions

  • In a blender, grind the blanched and peeled almonds into a fine powder.
  • In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
  • Add the ground almond powder to the milk and stir well.
  • Let the mixture simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the sugar, saffron strands, and cardamom powder to the milk mixture.
  • Continue to simmer for another 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and allow the Badam Milk to cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm or chilled, garnished with a few strands of saffron, if desired.

Notes

Ensure the almonds are properly blanched and peeled for a smoother texture.
Adjust the sugar according to your taste preference.
You can also add a pinch of ground nutmeg for extra flavor if desired.
