Cut the mozzarella cheese block into 4cm x 1cm thin sticks.
Pour the flour into a bowl with salt and garlic powder and mix together.
In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and whisk.
In a third bowl, pour the breadcrumb and Italian seasoning and mix.
Dredge the mozzarella sticks in the flour, shake off any excess flour, then dip into the egg and then press into the breadcrumbs to coat properly.
Set aside on parchment paper and freeze for 2 hours.
Fill a large pot with vegetable oil and heat up over a medium high heat.
Working in batches, fry the mozzarella, turning frequently until it is golden brown, around 2–3 mins. Transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel.
Fry the sticks until golden brown.
Serve hot and enjoy with marinara sauce.
