Ingredients

  • 1 Cauliflower cut into florets
  • 100 g Plain Flour
  • 100 ml Water
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 Lime juiced

Garnish:

  • Coriander Cilantro, chopped
  • Spring Onions sliced
  • Sesame Seeds for sprinkling

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the plain flour, water, baking powder, salt, and ground black pepper until you have a smooth batter.
  • Toss the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Place the coated cauliflower on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with vegetable oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is golden and crispy.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, and lime juice in a bowl.
  • Once the cauliflower is cooked, remove it from the oven and transfer to a serving dish.
  • Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the cauliflower.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh coriander (cilantro), sliced spring onions, and sesame seeds.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
